What’s on in… Lisbon – MURO – Urban Art Festival LX 2016 – 30th of April to 15th of May

A great  festival  of  urban  art  is  here, MURO, was  organized by  the Galeria  de Arte  Urbana (GAU) in cooperation with the Lisbon City Council and the Carnide parish council and has his epicentre on Bairro de Padre Cruz.

The main purpose is to motivate and endorse this already growing art movement, to highlight and draw attention to the differences between the vandalism graffiti and the amazing work that many different artists have been doing all over the globe and especially in Portugal.

For the job of curating the festival, we have top international and national creators, like Vhills, Pauline Foessel, Lara Seixo Rodrigues, Pariz One, Pedro Soares Neves, Miguel Negretti and Ana Vilar Bravo. And with these really amazing views, this festival will have also, street animation, workshops, conferences, photography, movies on display in Auditório do Centro Cultural de Carnide, and off course street food.

Don’t miss this opportunity and subscribe sending an email to gau@cm-lisboa.pt, the entrance is free!
