The Masaveu collection and the Museu Nacional de Arte Antiga have partnered to bring to Portugal an extraordinary selection of the assets collected by a well respected family for over three generations.

El Greco, Zurbarán, Goya and Sorolla are only four of the names that make up this collection of 60 works exhibited here. The collection will take you on a journey through the XV to the XX’s century. And besides the incredible four protagonist aforementioned you will find works from Gallego to Ribera, or from Murillo to Fortuny amongst many others – in a fascinating exhibition that spans over five centuries.

The notable collection has brought important pieces from a few others fundamental collections, such as, the royal collection. The Joaquín Sorolla selection, with works from the great painter of light, is of course, another focal point of the exhibition, you shouldn’t miss.

So this is the chance to be amazed by this world class exhibition, right here in Lisbon. The exhibition opened on the 20th of November and will be on until the 3rd of April.
